Redactle is a word puzzle game in which you reveal the name of a missing Wikipedia article by guessing the missing words. The whole article is blacked out except for the punctuation, small connecting words and sentence structure.
Redactle is more about deduction and pattern recognition than about spelling, not the same as Quordle or Scrabble. For every correct guess, all matching words in the article are revealed, providing clues about the topic.
Start with a heavily redacted Wikipedia article, your goal is to identify the exact article title before wasting too many guesses.
How the puzzle works:
The game rewards smart deduction rather than random guessing. Common words help reveal sentence structure, while specific terms uncover the article’s true subject.
Use general terms, such as “city,” “country,” “first,” or “river,” to determine the theme of the article. Pay attention to punctuation, dates, and word lengths because Wikipedia articles often follow predictable writing patterns. Once you discover a category such as geography, history, or science, switch to more specific keywords to narrow down the answer efficiently.
