Ant Flow is a colorful logic puzzle game where tiny worker ants help clear pixel-art pictures one block at a time. Each ant can only collect blocks that match its color, so every move needs a little planning. With five queue slots available, the challenge is to keep the ant flow moving without filling the board with boxes that cannot help.
Each level features a pixel-art image made up of layers of coloured tiles. First, determine the exposed tiles and which ant boxes are capable of reaching them. Click on an empty square to send its ants out. They automatically move to matching tiles and collect them one at a time.
When a box has finished sending out its ants, it disappears and a slot opens up. So, you can add another box to the queue and keep clearing the picture.
As you go up, you get more mechanics that require you to prepare more carefully:
There will be more fascinating difficulties as you go to higher levels. Since the board alters when tiles are removed, a move that at first seems useless may disclose a useful colour or open a new path.
The five slots are one of the main strategic limits in Ant Flow. A box without any matching tiles that can be accessed can just sit in a slot and take away your available space. You can get stuck if you fill all 5 spaces with bad boxes.
If feasible, try to always have at least one spot free. There is no timer or lives system, so you may take your time to survey the board and prepare several moves ahead.
After passing some stages, you get access to important assistance that can help when your typical sequence is difficult to manage:
These tools can affect the options available on the board, so use them when they give you a real advantage.
